I am always being told off by i-technologists for quoting Picasso as having
said that computers are useless. But I still love his reasoning? "Because
they can only give you answers."
Picasso, like AJAXWorld Magazine, liked questions. So we thought we would
share with you what some of the world's leading rich Internet application
pioneers are thinking may be the next questions that we need to see answered.
From that readers can themselves infer where AJAX is headed.
What are the top questions to ask next about AJAX?

2. How do I assess the performance of my app and decide what to do next to

Like an automobile, a web application needs occasional maintenance and
management over its life cycle. Although it doesn't need oil changes, it will
probably need version upgrades. There may not be manufacturer recalls, but
sometimes servers fail or hang. An application doesn't need to be washed and
detailed, but it does need to be backed up. And both cars and applications
need occasional performance tuning.
This article provides a complete list of the system management functions that
need to be performed on a standard architecture web application, with a
particular emphasis on doing so in an Infrastructure-as-a-Service
environment.
1. Evaluation
Anyone who has implemented an application without sufficient evaluation, only
to realize too late that it does not solve the business problem, will
understand why evaluation is part of the application lifecycle.

The markets may be melting, but Cloud Computing continues to attract
headlines, VC dollars, M&A; activity, and more. So let's take a quick look at
what's being said, written, and done about the Cloud...now that we have
reached Fall 2011.
Given the state of the economy, let's start with Forbes.com, where Joe
McKendrick (@JoeMcKendrick on Twitter) recently wrote:
"As we ponder unemployment and underemployment in our economy, the
availability of cheap cloud computing may be laying the groundwork for a
startup boom, the likes we have never seen before."
McKendrick insists that cloud computing isn’t revolutionary because it’s
changing the mode of technology delivery. "The real revolution that is
underway," he claims, "is that it is opening up new lines of business in
information technology or service delivery — even among non-IT
businesses." Fighting talk.

Last week I posted a PowerShell function library for Microsoft’s newly
introduced search engine at Bing.com. The function library was
appropriately named PoshBing. There was a log of interest in the script so I
quickly moved it off my blog and onto a CodePlex project under PoshBing.
Working on the command line is fun and all, but since I spend a good portion
of my time accessing my twitter account, I figured it would be a bit of fun
to integrate it with my previously released PoshTweet PowerShell twitter
library.
So, after an hour or so of coding it up and creating the @askbing twitter
account, I’ve got it up and running.
Using it is as simple as posting a message mentioning the @askbing account.
The Usage is as follows:
@askbing [sourcetype [options]] question_or_search_terms
If you omit the sourcetype it will default to “web”. The following

The challenges marketers face today are multifold.
How you do create content is such a way that it not only addresses an
individual's informational need but also reaches the masses? How you present
content so that your target audience does not loose interest? What language,
style and marketing vehicle will you adopt to reach your prospects and
customers? How will you connect employees, vendors, partners, and customers
and help them make better, faster decisions? How will you build competitive
strength and boost customer satisfaction? How can you leverage technology
investments and improve training offering to grow your customer's success?
These are just few of the questions faced by content marketers today. Using
frameworks to tackle these questions is one way sure shot way of ensuring you
are headed down the right path. I wrote about The 4P's of Content Marketing

Cloud Computing on Ulitzer
Back in June, we released the very first security hardened virtual machine
images for the Amazon Web Services Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) environment.
These original images were based upon the OpenSolaris 2008.11 release and
were configured in accordance with the guidelines published by Sun the Center
for Internet Security.
Since its initial release, we have provided an update to offer this image in
the European Region. In August, we took another step forward with the release
of a security-enhanced image based upon the OpenSolaris 2009.06 release.
This image went beyond just the simple hardening of its predecessor to add
functionality such as encrypted swap, non-executable stacks and auditing that
was enabled by default. With such a strong foundation, it should have been no
surprise that it was likely to be used as a foundation for layere... (more)

Eliminate the legal obligation to pay many of the debts: The goal of a
discharge is to reduce debts and to give a fresh start; both the chapter 7
and chapter 13 can eliminate all kind of debts.
Stop foreclosure: A home foreclosure can directly be stopped by chapter 13
bankruptcy laws, so one can be rest assured that bankruptcy can save his
home.
Prevent other properties like car or other valuables from being reposed, and
even though the car has been already reposed, it can be returned back by filing bankruptcy.
During times of natural accidents in the family, filing of chapter 7 can
greatly reduce the amount for the medical bills. Many families have to make
choices on allocation of bills. Often, bills that were once important become... (more)
Emerging markets don’t generally follow smooth, predictable paths. Rather,
they struggle and jerk unexpectedly, much like an eaglet escaping from its
shell. Vendors, analysts, and pundits may seek to define such markets, but
typically fall short. After all, vendors don’t establish markets. Customers
do.
Today, cloud computing is still in its birth throes. Yes, many organizations
are now achieving value in the cloud, but many more still struggle to
understand its true value proposition as cloud service providers (CSPs) and
vendors mature their offerings in the space. One problem: cloud computing is
not a single market. It is in fact many interrelated markets, as its core
service models, infrastructure-, platform-, and software as a service (SaaS),
fragment as though they were so many pieces of eggshell.

CloudEXPO Stories By Zakia Bouachraoui The precious oil is extracted from the seeds of prickly pear cactus plant. After taking out the seeds from the fruits, they are adequately dried and then cold pressed to obtain the oil. Indeed, the prickly seed oil is quite expensive. Well, that is understandable when you consider the fact that the seeds are really tiny and each seed contain only about 5% of oil in it at most, plus the seeds are usually handpicked from the fruits. This means it will take tons of these seeds to produce just one bottle of the oil for commercial purpose. But from its medical properties to its culinary importance, skin lightening, moisturizing, and protection abilities, down to its extraordinary hair care properties, prickly seed oil has got lots of excellent rewards for anyone who pays the price.
