Eliminate the legal obligation to pay many of the debts: The goal of a
discharge is to reduce debts and to give a fresh start; both the chapter 7
and chapter 13 can eliminate all kind of debts.
Stop foreclosure: A home foreclosure can directly be stopped by chapter 13
bankruptcy laws, so one can be rest assured that bankruptcy can save his
home.
Prevent other properties like car or other valuables from being reposed, and
even though the car has been already reposed, it can be returned back by filing bankruptcy.
During times of natural accidents in the family, filing of chapter 7 can
greatly reduce the amount for the medical bills. Many families have to make

Scale-out networking using fast, fat and flat network topologies deliver the
best ROI when building private or public cloud computing networks. A key
ingredient of such high performance and highly efficient network designs is
the Ethernet switch system that connects server, virtual machine and storage
nodes together to deliver desired application level performance.
In his session at the 11th International Cloud Expo, Sujal Das, Director of
Product Marketing for Broadcom Corporation's Infrastructure and Networking
Group (ING) will discuss the following:
Technology requirements in Ethernet switch system for delivering the largest
network nodes scale with flexible network topologies that optimize
application performance How to deliver the highest performance and support
multi-tenancy and seamless workload placement across dat... (more)
Eucalyptus is an open source Infrastructure as a Service cloud offering. What
is unique about Eucalyptus is that it is compatible with Amazon AWS APIs.
This means that you can:
Use Eucalyptus commands to manage Amazon or Eucalyptus instances. Freely move
instances between a Eucalyptus private cloud and the Amazon Public cloud to
create a hybrid cloud.
Eucalyptus leverages operating system virtualization, such as KVM or XEN, to
achieve isolation between applications and stacks. Operating system
virtualization dedicates CPU and RAM to systems and applications such that
they don't interfere with each other. In cloud parlance, this is called
isolation and is essential to achieve multi-tenancy. (For a refresher on
basic cloud terminology, see here; for a refresher on Infrastructure as a
Service, see here).

"The love is in the letting go," they say. But the creator of the World Wide
Web, Sir Tim Berners-Lee (pictured), may be having difficulty relinquishing
custody of his brainchild, "Web 1.0," and allowing it to evolve and
grow...into Web 2.0. SYS-CON Media's pioneering Web 2.0 Journal - edited by
blogger and Web 2.0 consultant Dion Hinchcliffe - took time over the Labor
Day weekend to sound out the wider Web community on Berners-Lee's now
infamous remark that "Web 2.0" as a term is "a piece of jargon."
Here we bring a round-up of what ordinary Netizens are saying about the
issue: "It's a little sad, I think, that someone of his stature is making
this common mistake. Essentially, people are thinking in terms of
technologies, and on that score, yes, Web 2.0 is just hype. But the rest of
us see Web 2.0 as a change in use and attitudes. If you like, Web 1.0 was
about de... (more)
I wonder how many people, as I did, found themselves thrown into confusion by
the death last week of Jean Ichbiah (pictured), inventor of Ada.
Learning that the inventor of a computer programming language is already old
enough to have lived 66 years (Ichbiah was 66 when he succumbed to brain
cancer) is a little like learning that your 11-year-old daughter has grown up
and left home or that the first car you ever bought no longer is legal
because it runs on gasoline in an age where all automobiles must run on
water. How can something as novel, as new, as a computing language possibly
already be so old-fangled that an early practitioner like Ichbiah can
already no longer be with us?
The thought was so disquieting that it took me immediately back to the last
time I wrote about Ichbiah, and indeed about Ada Lovelace for whom his
language was named. It was in the context ... (more)

Social networking sites have taken off over the last few years, and for a
long time there seemed to be a clear divide: Doostang, Ecademy, LinkedIn, and
Xing for business networking vs. Facebook, Friendster, and MySpace for kids
(be it high-school or college). Plus every network had their own particular
and sometimes even unique focus (e.g. Musicians on MySpace, Harvard and MIT
grads on Doostang, and lots of Europeans on Xing). But things are not so
simple anymore. As Facebook grows in popularity amongst "business types" due
to several unique features that set it apart from the likes of LinkedIn (more
on that later), the character of the network changes and it also gives rise
to some interesting generation-conflict issues, such as in Liz Ryan's recent
article "Worlds Colliding: My Mom's on Facebook!" in the BusinessWeek Career
Insight column. So... (more)
Salesforce.com, which has already linked its CRM software to Google Apps and
integrated AdWords tracking into its platform, is deploying a free new
Force.com Toolkit for Google Data APIs so third-party developers can interact
with data in Google services.
The toolkit is supposed to bring together data and content in Google Apps
with the database, logic and workflow capabilities in Salesforce.com’s
Force.com development platform.
Salesforce claims the move creates a “multi-cloud computing
platform” that will accelerate the creation of newfangled web-based
applications.
It’s thinking business applications that extend Salesforce for Google
Apps as well as brand new applications that help customers run their business
entirely in the cloud.
Salesforce used as examples applications like sales quote generation and
business forecasting that can be depl... (more)

CloudEXPO Stories By Zakia Bouachraoui The precious oil is extracted from the seeds of prickly pear cactus plant. After taking out the seeds from the fruits, they are adequately dried and then cold pressed to obtain the oil. Indeed, the prickly seed oil is quite expensive. Well, that is understandable when you consider the fact that the seeds are really tiny and each seed contain only about 5% of oil in it at most, plus the seeds are usually handpicked from the fruits. This means it will take tons of these seeds to produce just one bottle of the oil for commercial purpose. But from its medical properties to its culinary importance, skin lightening, moisturizing, and protection abilities, down to its extraordinary hair care properties, prickly seed oil has got lots of excellent rewards for anyone who pays the price.
