Ruby Creek Adds to Mining Operations Team

NEW YORK, March 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ruby Creek Resources, Inc. (OTCQB: RBYC), a gold exploration and mining company with operations in Tanzania, is pleased to announce it is strengthening mining operations management in Tanzania.

Ruby Creek is pleased to announce the addition of James "Sonny" Dalzell as mining operations manager.  Sonny has over 40 years mining experience, primarily in the development and production of placer deposits.  He has spent 20 years of his career in gold mining where he has accumulated expertise in underground mining and placer mining.  Sonny had two operational gold mines in Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) that were comprised of both hard rock and alluvial source gold.  He also has numerous years of experience with mining and cutting several types of gemstones such as emeralds, rubies and cat's eye.  Sonny developed and manufactured small scale mining equipment, which has been successfully demonstrated to the Austrian Government.

Ruby Creek is delighted to announce that Bob Gray has been promoted to Director of Operations.  Bob has set up mining operations in several African countries such as in South Africa for gold and diamonds, Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Liberia and the Congo for mining a wide variety of mineral resources.  He has a broad knowledge of the minerals industry particularly in gold, dimension stone, diamonds, coal, tantalum, and titanium from a project management to consulting to brokering perspectives.  Bob has been associated with mining projects in Ghana, Ivory Coast, Zambia, Malawi, Botswana and Tanzania.

Bob also has extensive general business management experience at the executive level, in large corporate environments as well as in smaller private and medium sized listed companies.  He has been a Managing Director of a public South African company and has done work initializing listings and is very familiar with market requirements for mining companies.  Bob has a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) degree and Bachelor of Science from the University of South Africa (UNISA).

Dan Bartley, CEO of Ruby Creek commented, "We have been very pleased with Bob's mobilization and project management skills in Tanzania.  His strong leadership has positively impacted mining operations.  Bob is now streamlining all areas of operations, which has saved money and improved logistics."  Dan continued, "Sonny brings to Ruby Creek a tremendous amount of mining experience.  Not many mining engineers have experience in placer operations, which encompasses a large part of Sonny's career.  His long mining experience in gemstones comes as an added benefit to Ruby Creek due to the wide array of stones we are presently recovering from our GS1 mining license area."

Digital Transformation is much more than a buzzword. The radical shift to digital mechanisms for almost every process is evident across all industries and verticals. This is often especially true in financial services, where the legacy environment is many times unable to keep up with the rapidly shifting demands of the consumer. IoT is rapidly becoming mainstream as more and more investments are made into the platforms and technology. As this movement continues to expand and gain momentum it creates a massive wall of noise that can be difficult to sift through. Unfortunately, this inevitably makes IoT less approachable for people to get started with and can hamper efforts to integrate this key technology into your own portfolio. There are so many connected products already in place today with many hundreds more on the h...
The standardization of container runtimes and images has sparked the creation of an almost overwhelming number of new open source projects that build on and otherwise work with these specifications. Of course, there's Kubernetes, which orchestrates and manages collections of containers.
