The Vaynerchucks Launch T-Shirt Search Engine PleaseDressMe

Gary Vaynerchuck doesn’t just love a good glass of wine. He also loves a good T-Shirt. The video blogger behind Wine Library TV has just launched a T-Shirt search engine called PleaseDressMe with his brother AJ and Digg lead architect Joe Stump. The site is simple. It lets you search for T-shirts by keyword, tags, color, or price, and returns results from places like Threadless and BustedTees. It is not trying to search all T-shirt sites, just the cool ones. I’m not going to harsh on this site too much because, well, it’s a T-shirt search engine. And it’s just a side project. But there many keyword searches I tried turned up nothing. (Come on, Gary, you couldn’t find any “wine” T-shirts?). I did find “beer,” though. I’d suggest using the tag cloud to find what you are looking for, until the site crawls fro more Ts. Yahoo Adds Twitter Results to Desktop, Mobile Searches

Yahoo on Thursday announced a new partnership with Twitter that will see tweets brought directly into the company’s homepage newsfeed. The new integration will be rolling out “over the next few days” on Yahoo’s US site, available to both desktop and mobile Web users. Yahoo says it plans to include “relevant and personalized tweets” alongside its stories. If the partnership bears fruit, however, it’s fair to say Yahoo will look to expand it to its mobile apps as well as overseas. Yahoo’s justification for the inclusion of tweets is fairly straightforward. The company sees the social network as a source for news, and since its homepage is still largely centered around delivering just that to its users, adding Twitter support is just one of many steps in its attempt to become relevant again. “Updates direct from politicians, celebrities, media outlets, and other publis...
