SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AppDynamics, Inc., the next-generation application performance management (APM) solution that simplifies the management of complex apps, today offered the federal government free software for three months to be used to put an end to the existing problems plaguing the federal health exchange, HealthCare.gov. As a supplier to thousands of mission critical web applications, AppDynamics can knowledgeably provide insights to organizations to help IT identify and fix bottlenecks up to ten times faster than other providers. Finding and eliminating debilitating system bugs will maximize application performance and facilitate a better user experience for healthcare seekers.
To date, the Affordable Care Act has been challenged to deliver superior service to users, and AppDynamics is interested in seeing the health exchange function successfully and smoothly online. The exchange, and more importantly the engineering team behind the scenes, could benefit from quality application performance monitoring and management software to identify and understand the internal slowdowns and failures that the web applications are experiencing. This software would allow them to quickly identify and troubleshoot the bottlenecks in their application and prioritize the optimizations that would have the maximum impact on performance.
"At AppDynamics we monitor some of the largest and most complex web applications in the world, so we know the challenges the government is facing in launching these healthcare exchanges," said Jyoti Bansal, Founder and CEO of AppDynamics. "I believe that our software, in addition to helping improve the performance of these exchanges, could make life easier for the engineers that are undoubtedly working around the clock to fix issues and keep them running. I'm happy to offer our APM software to the federal government for three months for free to help them get their systems running smoothly and to make it easier for consumers to sign up for healthcare."
