Recorded Future provides a blog that captures several exemplars of their capability and its applicability in many mission areas. One mission area of particular interest in the use of Recorded Future for Cyber Security missions. Today Recorded Future posted another informative piece on this theme titled: “Improving Cyber Threat and Vulnerability Assessment with Web Intelligence” Here is an excerpt: The concept behind Recorded Future is simple to understand (though difficult to implement) and is certainly not based on psychic visions. What the company does is gather content from the open web, filter it, analyze it, and generate predictive signals based on the refined information. Simply put, it is organizing the open source ... Cloud Expo and The End of Tech Recession

http://twitter.com/fuatkircaali At SYS-CON Media we see our inventories are filling up to 100% capacity for the months of November, December, and January, and we are seeing better-than-normal RFP activity for the first quarter of 2010. When I say this, I am comparing the current insertion order activity to the same period last year. We will be closing 2009 roughly 32% below 2008 in revenues (far better than any other tech media company), which forced us to reduce our expenses for the same period by around 40%. Last fall, while the world was falling apart, we were preparing for a 40%-45% drop in advertising revenues for 2009. We did better than our worst projections. Chuck Phillips Was Supposed to Become CEO of CA

Oracle Keynote at Cloud Expo Cloud Computing News - Oracle co-president Charles Phillips was supposed to become CEO of CA - for all its muddied skirts still one of the world's largest software companies - and then those "soul mates forever" billboards popped up in New York, Atlanta and San Francisco, exposing his near decade-long bi-coastal double life with wife and son in the East and a live-in girlfriend in the West. Six days after Phillips was forced to admit that a picture of him and his ex-girlfriend canoodling was hanging over Times Square, CA named board member and executive chairman Bill McCracken CEO. He's the guy who's been running the company since John Swainson's reportedly forced retirement was announced in September.
