Floyd “Money” Mayweather made headlines last weekend for making light
work of Mixed Martial Arts superstar Conor McGregor. But he also made tech
headlines recently by endorsing the Hubii Network, an initial coin offering
(ICO), on his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
This isn’t the first time Mayweather (who’s dubbed himself Floyd
“Crypto” Mayweather) has endorsed an ICO. In late July, he promoted the
ICO for the Stox project, which went on to raise more than $30 million in its

I have been working on this concept of Modern Mobile Architectures for about
two years now. Modern Mobile Architectures are architectures that support
mobile device applications connected to decentralized infrastructure. Modern
Mobile Architectures combine mobile technology and cloud computing.
We have clients who do not have a web server or internal infrastructure, but
who connect smart mobile devices to the cloud and then leverage the
cloud-based information as a product. This is one of the most exciting
changes I have seen in computing in my lifetime.
The biggest challenge in both cloud and mobile technologies right now is
security; combine the two technologies and we have a security wormhole. In

Developing mobile apps has never been an easy task. Creating a mobile app for
iOS means owning strong programming skills about Objective-C or Swift and
knowing their APIs. Android-based apps are not so different: you have to know
Java and the Android Platform and its API.
The learning curve is not fast and it includes how to create nice and
interactive user interfaces, connecting embedded features like GPS, camera,
showing maps, images and so forth.
To make it more complex, it is pretty common to connect the app with a server
where central data is saved or fetched and where other services must be
connected, like a central database, documents repository or other information
systems.

How much does it cost to make an app is almost as popular a question as it is
confusing.
No one tries to learn the exact costs of, say, making a movie: people realize
that there's an overwhelming amount of variables involved on which they
depend.
But almost every day a new inquiry is posted on a tech forum, Quora, or
Reddit, as to how much it'd take to build a mobile business app.
Such calculation, in many ways, is even harder to make.
Is there a way to tackle the question properly?
First we want you to understand that any exact figures couldn't possibly be
given straight away, without the details, and that all the so-called online
app development cost calculators are, essentially, just marketing baits.

Organizations are racing to embrace the Internet of Things (IoT) as the pundits create “visions of sugar-plums dancing in their heads.” McKinsey Global Institute released their study “The Internet of Things: Mapping the Value beyond the Hype” in June 2015 that highlighted the staggering financial value that IoT could create! Recently I read somewhere this statement – As we end 2017 and look ahead to 2018, topics that are top of mind for data professionals are the growing range of data management mandates, including the EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation that is directed at personal data and privacy, the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning in enterprise applications, the need for better security in light of the onslaught of hacking cases, and the ability to leverage the expanding Internet of Things.
