I've done a Windows Azure Series together with Mario Szpusta, Software
Architect Evangelist at Microsoft Austria on Windows Azure. The Series is in

What Is Windows Azure?
Windows Azure is Microsoft's Platform as a Service offering for Cloud
Computing. There are three major fields in Windows Azure. Figure 1 provides
an overview of the platform.

Piston Cloud is about to release Airframe, a cut-down version of its Piston
Enterprise OpenStack platform built so business users have a free way to
evaluate and get comfortable with OpenStack in a pre-production environment.
It's supposed to be ideal in pilot deployments, proof of concept and lab
environments.
The bare-metal cloud management platform is said to install in less than 10
minutes - which, if true, is probably remarkable - and deliver all the core
OpenStack services including compute, storage, networking and cloud
management.
The company says it was designed to fill the gap between the OpenStack
framework and Piston Enterprise OpenStack, its production-ready and supported
OpenStack distribution.
Evidently before Airframe, it wasn't possible to evaluate all of the core
OpenStack services without installing and configuring several different

Last week’s arrival of the Microsoft Azure Stack Technical Preview marks a
turning point in the cloud computing market and forms a leading indicator of
how dramatically Microsoft has changed in the past two years.
The cloud turning point comes because the path to hybrid-cloud capabilities
and benefits has a powerful new usher, one with the enterprise, developer,
and service-provider presence, R and D budget, and competitive imperative to

From personal care products to groceries and movies on demand, cloud-based subscriptions are fulfilling the needs of consumers across an array of market sectors. Nowhere is this shift to subscription services more evident than in the technology sector. By adopting an Everything-as-a-Service (XaaS) delivery model, companies are able to tailor their computing environments to shape the experiences they want for customers as well as their workforce. 
We have Continuous Integration and we have Continuous Deployment, but what’s continuous across all of what we do is people. Even when tasks are automated, someone wrote the automation. So, Jayne Groll evangelizes about Continuous Everyone. Jayne is the CEO of the DevOps Institute and the author of Agile Service Management Guide. I have had the opportunity to work for and around a good many start-ups during the course of my career. Often the start-up founders would simply define a problem, develop a solution and launch a company. The reference architecture provides guidance for the development of government systems, solutions and application architecture. A reference architecture provides a common framework and allows the design to follow the consistent definitions for the system of interest, its decompositions and design patterns. 
All organizations that did not originate this moment have a pre-existing culture as well as legacy technology and processes that can be more or less amenable to DevOps implementation.
