The Jevons Paradox: How Democratization of IT Increases Demand for Cloud
The Jevons Paradox suggests that when technological advances increase
efficiency of a resource, it results in an overall increase in consumption.
Writing on the increased use of coal as a result of technological
improvements, 19th-century economist William Stanley Jevons found that these
improvements led to the development of new ways to utilize coal.

I’ve been reading up on APIs cause, coolness. And in particular I really enjoyed reading Best Practices for Designing a Pragmatic RESTful API because it had a lot of really good information and advice.
