Prasanna Sivaramakrishnan is a Solutions Architect at Red Hat working for the IoT/Embedded Program out of San Francisco. He has 11 years of experience in providing enterprise software solutions to clients in the retail, insurance, banking, transportation, telecom, energy and software industries. He is focused on solving business challenges by developing solutions for device connectivity, data integration and management, and IoT platform augmentation.


Prasanna's former roles involve positions in Software development for enterprise systems and Consulting roles for custom software applications utilizing middleware at companies such as HP, Oracle and JP Morgan. He has an MS in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

It is smart and reflects very well on their leadership team: They decided to leverage GitHub for their site. Doing so puts them one step closer to the creators that a VC in their space needs to know and is a great way to step out in a trust-based relationship. It is also a great way to be more transparent- they use GitHub to provide their entire operating manual for all to see.
We humans have a finite speed at which we can think, analyze and make decisions. We can only focus on a small set of data before we are overwhelmed. When important decisions must be made, our brains need time, significant time, to weigh all the variables, pros and cons and possible outcomes in order to arrive at a good decision. In times of high stress where making fast decisions is required, many of us don't perform at our peak. In addition, weak humans that we are - need sleep. We are not always available; we require daily downtime in order to function.
