Most of the IoT Gateway scenarios involve collecting data from machines/processing and pushing data upstream to cloud for further analytics. The gateway hardware varies from Raspberry Pi to Industrial PCs. You won’t get the results you want by collecting data indiscriminately and running an algorithm over all of it.
