AVer Information, Inc., a leading provider of innovative video conferencing solutions for SMBs and large corporations, and Vidtel, a pioneer in cloud-based any-to-any® video conferencing, today announced a strategic partnership and a joint solution to bring powerful, affordable cloud-based video conferencing to businesses of any size.
The joint solution bundles AVer's EVC100 and EVC130 video conferencing endpoints with Vidtel's Connect and MeetMe cloud-based video collaboration services.

- AVer EVC100 is the industry's first under-$1,000, enterprise-class HD video conferencing endpoint, and is covered by the industry's only three-year warranty.
- Vidtel Connect provides easy-to-use cloud-based point-to-point video calling. Customers can leverage video calling without any network infrastructure such as H.323 gatekeepers, SIP proxies, Gateways or other complex IP network configuration. This makes enterprise video communication easy to use and plug-and-play.
- Vidtel MeetMe provides cloud-based, multi-party video conferencing that supports participants using SIP, H.323, WebRTC, Skype and Google Talk on fixed or mobile devices.
"We're thrilled that we're able to couple free trials of Vidtel Connect service and Vidtel MeetMe service with the purchase of every EVC100 or EVC130," said Eric Yu, Product Management Director at AVer Information, Inc. "The video collaboration market is shifting rapidly – video is no longer a tool just for the largest of large enterprises. When you combine the low-cost, high quality AVer EVC product line with Vidtel cloud-based video services that are completely plug-and-play and don't require the customer to own expensive and complex infrastructure, suddenly you have a powerful and agile solution that is accessible to businesses of any size."
"Again and again, we hear that customers are looking for solutions that are easy to use," said Alex Doyle, VP Marketing at Vidtel. "This joint solution makes intra-business and business-to-business video collaboration simple and powerful: with the EVC line and Vidtel Connect, parties can connect instantly without complex dialing or confusing user interfaces – it's as easy as dialing a phone number. And with the EVC line and Vidtel MeetMe, companies have an easy way to collaborate with their partners, customers and suppliers, using the AVer EVC to seamlessly connect to applications like Skype, Google Talk, or WebRTC."
"The traditional video conference market is changing, and customers are looking for more affordable, more accessible video solutions," said Roopam Jain, Principal Analyst at Frost & Sullivan. "We like the bundled AVer-Vidtel solution: the AVer price points are extremely appealing to any size customer, point-to-point video calling is simplified and the ease of cloud video conferencing makes it very attractive to companies interested in BYOD, mobility and business-to-business video."
