Compuware has entered into an agreement with Amdocs, a provider of customer experience systems and services, to be a supplier of application performance management (APM) for its production environments.
Compuware APM - dynaTrace - will be one of Amdocs' preferred production monitoring and support solutions, facilitating solution development and testing and helping to drive faster delivery and better solution performance and stability.

"Traditional" APM tools do not provide the flexibility, agility and visibility required to handle the increasing complexity of applications and the underlining environments. Independent vendors like Amdocs are choosing Compuware's new generation APM since it addresses this complexity, ensuring solution serviceability, a shorter software development lifecycle and faster time-to-market. Most recently, dynaTrace was used to support the development and testing of the new, Amdocs CES 9 product suite. Its ability to deep-dive into running systems combined with its low operational overhead proved particularly valuable during the functional and scalability testing of the integrated suite.
"Telecommunications is one of our largest industries," said Blair Drenner, Vice President of Strategic Business Development at Compuware Corporation. "Compuware's partnership with Amdocs will deliver the stability and performance expected in an industry where these tie tightly to brand and revenue."
Compuware APM is a provider of new generation of application performance management. Unlike traditional APM solutions that are heavy, difficult and reactive, Compuware APM is light, smart and proactive. Compuware APM is built to manage the complexity of today's most challenging modern applications including mobile, cloud, big data and SOA. Compuware APM optimizes and monitors tens of thousands of applications for more than 4,000 customers, large and small, around the globe. Through the lens of end-user experience, our customers enjoy faster performance, proactive problem resolution, accelerated time-to-market and reduced application management costs through smarter analytics, advanced APM automation and a unique performance lifecycle foundation.
