Over the last week, the cloud world has witnessed a few important
announcements from a couple of major cloud players. There were some new
feature releases from Amazon and Microsoft. In addition, Amazon has announced
the SAP Business Suite certification on AWS. Also, there was a ‘must

Load testing, perhaps more than any other form of testing, is one of those
activities that you either choose to do well or risk a result that leaves you
worse off than not doing it at all. Half-hearted attempts at load testing
yield "results," but too often those results are inaccurate, leading to a

Before buying more storage space it's a good idea to make sure your existing space isn't filled with redundant or old data - or hundreds of downloaded cat videos.
Disk capacity is increasing and while prices continue to drop, those savings are offset by demands for new capacity to store more and larger files. Not only does this mean more primary disk space, but 2x that amount for backups.

How does one measure the value of mobilizing and socializing an enterprise? In the book Social Business by Design: Transformative Social Media Strategies, written by Dion Hinchcliffe and Peter Kim, they report that in 2010, McKinsey and Company published survey results of companies engaged in social business activities that showed firms engaged systematically in social business processes had 24 percent higher revenue. Frost and Sullivan found similar results showing companies that deployed social tools saw improved performance in innovation (68 percent versus 39 percent that didn't deploy), sales growth (76 percent versus 50 percent that didn't deploy), and profit growth (71 percent versus 45 percent that didn't deploy).
