Cloud Expo, Inc. Registers Worldwide Cloud Expo (TM) Trademark

Name Was First Used in 2007, Receives Serial Number 85009040 From USPTO

As the Fifth International Cloud Expo (TM) approaches, word has come that its producer, Cloud Expo, Inc., based in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, has received serial number 85009040 from the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).

Cloud Expo was announced on February 24, 2007, the day the term "cloud computing" was coined, according to its producers. "That same year, the first Cloud Expo took place in New York City with 450 delegates," the company reports.

Now, coming soon, April 19-21 at the Javits Center in New York, Cloud Expo, Inc. expects more than 5,000 delegates to accompany more than 100 exhibitors at what will be the largest Cloud Computing event ever produced.

Cloud Expo was also held in Prague last summer, and will return to that city June 21-22 of this year. In November, Cloud Expo returns to Santa Clara, CA, in the heart of Silicon Valley, where opening keynote proceedings had to be delayed a few minutes last year to accommodate an overflowing crowd.

Cloud Expo Hong Kong, Cloud Expo Tokyo, and other global events are also being registered by Cloud Expo, Inc.
