The recent Grand Opening and Tech Expo event from ScaleMatrix was a huge
success with over 600 guests in attendance and 26 vendors exhibiting. Guests
were treated to awesome appetizers and cocktails, which nearly ran out. The
wealth of knowledge for visitors was augmented by one of the best networking
opportunities in a regional technology event.
Tours of the facility, which highlighted the revolutionary technology, power
and infrastructure, were led by ScaleMatrix executive staff through the

Ubuntu has just announced the release of the newest version of their Linux
Distribution: Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot. With this release comes a myriad
of updates and bug fixes along with further development of the Unity UI. The
server version aims to take hold of the Cloud with a plethora of built-in

As the news spread like wildfire yesterday through the various popular social
media channels, I was struck by the appropriateness that I heard the news
about Steve Jobs passing on my iPhone. The iconic founder of Apple computers
had been battling a long bout of pancreatic cancer that proved to be
terminal. While most of us in the tech world knew Steve was sick and that he
