SYS-CON Events announced today that Cloud Expo 2012 New York, the 10th International Cloud Computing Conference & Expo, will take place June 11-14, 2012, at the Javits Center in New York City.
The International Cloud Computing Conference & Expo series is the world's leading Cloud-focused event and is held three times a year, in New York, Silicon Valley and in Europe. Over 400 corporate sponsors and 20,000 industry professionals have participated in Cloud Expo since its inception, more than all other Cloud-related events put together.
"Cloud Expo was announced on February 24, 2007, the day the term ‘cloud computing' was coined," said Fuat Kircaali, founder and chairman of SYS-CON Events, Inc. "Cloud has become synonymous with ‘computing' and ‘software' in two short years, and this event has become the new PC Expo, Comdex, and InternetWorld of our decade. By 2012, more than 50,000 delegates per year will be attending Cloud Expo."
"10th Cloud Expo is trending to be both the biggest ever and the best-attended event in the international Cloud Expo series to date, so it is only natural that we should be holding it in the biggest and best conference venue anywhere on the East Coast, the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center," stated Carmen Gonzalez, CEO of Cloud Expo. "If you are not at Cloud Expo New York, June 11-14, at the Javits Center, then you risk not getting the relevant parts of your IT infrastructure into the Cloud in time."
"As we approach the tenth successive Cloud Expo, it has been gratifying to receive the largest number of speaking submissions we have ever had, in excess of eleven hundred, and to see from the subject matter of those speaking proposals how the scope and reach of Cloud Computing is so clearly widening and deepening. Its impact is being felt not only throughout Enterprise IT but also worldwide," noted Jeremy Geelan, President and COO of Cloud Expo. "As a result, the lineup of speakers and sessions at Cloud Expo New York this coming June includes more CEOs, CTOs, and CIOs of top Cloud players than any previous Cloud Expo."
The four-day event will offer a rich array of sessions led by exceptional speakers about the business and technical value of cloud computing with an estimated 200 sponsors and exhibitors on the 120,000 sq. ft. show floor and 10,000 estimated delegates from well over 48 different countries.
