Google Reportedly Building Nexus Tablet

The latest scuttlebutt has LG building Google a so-called “pure” Android 3.0 Nexus tablet uncluttered with any OEM software

The latest scuttlebutt, repeated by Mobile Review and CrunchGear, has LG building Google a so-called "pure" Android 3.0 Nexus tablet uncluttered with any OEM software that will come out this summer or early fall.

Based on what Google did with the Nexus phone, PC World suggests that the thing would take an updated version of Honeycomb, an Android 3.0x. LG's already got its own Android-based Optimus Pad a k a G-Slate.

Google has supposedly forbidden early tablets based on smartphone-intended Android 2.x like the first Samsung Galaxy Tabs to upgrade to Honeycomb. They're governed by different agreements.
