Intel Says Supply Chain OK

The semiconductor giant’s alternate supply chain remains intact and that Intel will be able supply all its customers

Intel spokesman Chuck Mulloy said late Tuesday that, despite the carnage in Japan, the semiconductor giant's alternate supply chain remains intact and that Intel will be able supply all its customers. Whether its Japanese customers can take delivery and whether Intel will be able to move product and materials in, out and around Japan is another matter. Intel depends on Japan for about 10% of its revenue. Mulloy said all of Intel's people are accounted for and its facilities there suffered only superficial damage.
