In the first and second articles of this series I discussed benchmarking and
different approaches towards optimization of web application. As already
mentioned in the last article, as soon as you get used to working with Key
Performance Indicators you will want to automatically monitor them.

Apple's App Store has done so well - seven billion downloads - and the Mac is
now doing so well - the Mac would be #110 of a Fortune 500 list if it was
spun out - that Apple figured why not give Mac its very own App Store?
So a Mac App Store should be up and running by mid-January. Apple is going to
want its usual 30% of the take. Payment will be through iTunes. Free apps are
welcome. Developers can start submitting apps next month. Downloaded apps
will auto-install and auto-update. Otherwise software for the Mac will be
through the usual channels.

Cloud Expo 2010 West total show floor space increased from 20,000 sq. ft. in 2009 to over 100,000 sq. ft. in 2010 including the expo floor.

I have a love/hate relationship with trade shows. On the one hand, I love them. I love meeting customers and prospects, and I love the shameless boosterism that it entails.
