This definitely was the week for Finland sucking it up. Nokia, its troubled 145-year-old national treasure - yup, it started in pulp and paper - betcha didn't know that - is facing North Americanization under its first non-Finnish CEO, Canadian Stephen Elop poached from Microsoft Office, and the most famous Finn of all Linus Torvalds has just become an American citizen like two of his kids who were born in the states. Apparently he wanted to be able to vote.
