Sun Announces CommunityOne Free Conference Schedule

Sun Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ:JAVA), today announced details around its next CommunityOne conference, slated for June 1-3, 2009, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Growing in popularity since its launch in San Francisco in 2007, this is the third annual developer conference. There is no charge to attend CommunityOne on Monday, June 1, with only a nominal fee to attend the deep technology sessions on June 2 and 3. Overall, very exciting times, and a great event put together by the folks at SYS-CON! There was a lot of excitement and optimism throughout the event. As someone put it: cloud computing is about 700 days old. That means that there are a lot of arguments about definitions, and where things are going, and so on. And that also gives a lot of vibe and a lot of fresh community spirit.
