iPhone App Photo Hunter Cracks Top 50 Paid Applications in First Three Days
Venice Consulting Group Creates Bestselling Game and Ramps Up iPhone Application Development Offerings

CULVER CITY, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/30/08 -- Venice Consulting Group (VCG), a leading software development and consulting firm, created the iPhone game "Photo Hunter" for bric | entertainment which has placed in the top 50 of all paid applications on the iTunes App Store. The accomplishment comes only three days after its initial release and attests to the addictive nature of Photo Hunter's new twist on a classic bar game.

Photo Hunter challenges users to think, react and respond... fast. Players score points by accurately identifying subtle differences between two similar photos as quickly as possible. Photo Hunter trains and improves visual perception skills and hand-eye coordination. Players can instantly upload scores to bric's web site and view comparisons against others.

"The iPhone has redefined what the mobile experience is all about," says Niels Hansen, chief technology officer of VCG. "The convergence of music, video, internet, gaming and business applications means we can look forward to many innovative applications to come. VCG has seen an explosion in the demand for iPhone application development, particularly in gaming. As business adoption continues to grow, we anticipate further proliferation of applications developed for the corporate user."

Mr. Hansen was recently featured in an article in Website Magazine discussing common mistakes companies make in developing iPhone applications.

"Companies should begin incorporating the iPhone as part of their mobile strategy," continues Hansen. "One of the most common mistakes we see is companies assuming the time and money required to build an iPhone app is less than it actually takes. In fact, building great software for the iPhone is just as -- if not more -- complex than for the desktop. Venice Consulting will continue to lead the way in iPhone application development."
