Intrepidus Group has announced that it has been recognized with a 2008 government technology "Best Of" award from the Government Technology Research Alliance (GTRA) in the "Best Boardroom Meeting" category. The new recognition joins a series of accolades, including a recent independent review performed by Bright Hub, given to Intrepidus' PhishMe security solution for protecting enterprises from the growing and ominous threat of spear phishing and whaling attacks.
The "Best Of" awards were selected by senior government executives at GTRA's annual council meeting who voted on cutting-edge speaking demonstrations, presentations and best in class government technology solutions. Intrepidus' CEO Rohyt Belani facilitated a series of executive boardroom meetings with groups of government technology executives to present "Spear Phishing: Train your Workforce to Dodge the Hook," which was in turn voted "Best Boardroom Meeting." GTRA will be including the award winners in a beta group established for supporting the new technology initiatives being brought forth by the Obama administration. In addition to the GTRA "Best Of" award distinction, PhishMe has also recently received recognition in an independent product review from Bright Hub which gave the product a five star thumb's up in the article entitled, "Phishme: The Easy Way to Enhance Employee Phishing Awareness."
