For example: http session affinity, where a specific user session is always handled by the same specific server instance (as long as no fail-over occurred). Jobs May Need a New Liver
SEC reviewing Apple’s disclosures regarding CEO's health

Bloomberg says that the SEC is reviewing Apple's disclosures about the health of its CEO Steve Jobs "to ensure investors weren't misled."

Great, Apple has little credibility and the SEC is trying to redeem its own sunken reputation.

In a separate story Bloomberg said Jobs, now suddenly on medical leave until June after claiming a few days before that his anorexic-like condition could be fixed simply enough - a turnabout that whipsawed Apple's stock - may have a liver transplant as a result of complications from his 2004 cancer surgery.

It quoted nameless sources who, it said, were "monitoring his illness."

The newswire's reporter tried to talk to Jobs about it. He reportedly brushed her off saying, "Why don't you guys leave me alone? Why is this important?"

By the way, SEC chairman Christopher Cox resigned Tuesday. Barack Obama's appointee Mary Schapiro has yet to be confirmed. An acting chairman is expected to be named.
