Yahoo’s life-saving revenue-enhancing alliance with Google, supposedly set to kick off in a week and substitute for a Microsoft buy-out, has been put on hold while antitrust regulators at the Department of Justice continue their investigation. The companies issued separate statements late Friday saying they had agreed to a "brief delay in implementing the agreement."
"Advertising on Google.com is contextual [and] requires no personally identifiable information," asserts Google's Director of Public Policy and Government Affairs, Alan Davidson.
According to a recent study commissioned by Accenture, managers spend two hours a day looking for information they need, and almost half the data is useless once they get it.

Mike Neil is general manager for virtualization strategy in the Windows Server Division at Microsoft. Mike is focused on the delivery of the Windows virtualization technology, including Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V, Microsoft Hyper-V Server and Virtual PC 2007. Mike also directs the technical enablement of Microsoft's broader vision for virtualization, to include virtualization management tools and virtualized desktop infrastructure.
