Las compañías móviles ante el desafío de crecer y ser rentables
(ConvergenciaLatina) Movistar y América Móvil privilegian el crecimiento en volumen de clientes basado en subsidios mientras que Telecom Italia centrará su foco de negocios en la rentabilidad Las máximas autoridades de los tres operadores móviles de la Argentina oficiaron de disertantes hoy al mediodía, durante la primera jornada del evento "La Revolución Móvil 2005" organizado por el Grupo Convergencia y que congregó a más de 350 personas. Los directivos coincidieron en pronosticar que para fin de año se alcanzará una penetración de, al menos, un 50%, cerca de 20 millones de clientes. Sin embargo, hubo diferentes perspectivas acerca de cómo encararán ese crecimiento. Guglielmo Noya, flamante Director General de Personal (Telecom Italia), enfatizó que la prioridad de su compañía será ?aumentar el market share pero sin destruir valor económico?.
