Are You Having a Problem Staying Logged In?

Since the code upgrade, some members have been having problems staying logged in. The fix for this is to logout, remove all LQ related cookies and then log in. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Apache on LQ Upgraded to 2.2.x

Along the lines of this thread I am going to break from tradition and announce another system level upgrade. I just switched things from apache 1.3.x->2.2.x, which as you may have guessed is a fairly substantial change. If you notice anything odd at all, please let me know ASAP. A cursory look around so far and I haven't noticed anything yet. Thanks.

PHP on LQ Upgraded to 5.1.x

While I usually don't announce system level changes, I felt this one was large enough to deserve it. As of about a minute ago we're now running PHP 5.1.x (up from 4.4.x). This upgrade should increase the performance of the site in general and will make a couple nice new features of PHP available to us.
