Being BileBlogged
I've been "BileBloged". Getting "biled" is an honor. It means Hani Suleiman has dedicated one of his BileBlog entries to me, bitching and moaning as only he can. In this case he's biling about a talk I gave on open source at the TSS Symposium in Vegas this afternoon.
But sadly -- instead of a good healthy lampooning of my actual beliefs and words -- Hani put words in my mouth. That's just not right. I've gotta bile back.

Screencasting with Jon Udell
I recently did a "screencast" with Jon Udell at Infoworld in which I demo XQuery and the MarkLogic Server. It's 12 minutes long and shows some short but powerful queries running against O'Reilly book and article content.

Have you seen what BrowserHawk and CountryHawk
can do? BrowserHawk detects over 120 features about the browsers
hitting your site including type and version (see above),
disabled JavaScript and cookies, Flash and other plug-ins,
connection speed, Java version, and more. CountryHawk takes
an IP address and tells you its country of origin (see the
flag). I think they're both extremely cool and am proud to
have had a hand in developing them. For more information:
click
here. (It's an ASP demo page but it works with Java
too.)
