Focus on JSRs
New JSRs
JSR 285, Performance Management API, will provide for the monitoring and management of the performance of an information or telecommunications network. The JSR is now available for review.

Early Draft Reviews
JSR 231, Java Bindings for OpenGL, is now available for review. This review closes on 18 November.

Public Reviews
JSR 257, Contactless Communication API, is now available. This review closes on 21 November.

JSR 202, Java Class File Specification, is now available, This review closes on 27 November.

JSR 233, J2EE Mobile Device Management and Monitoring Specification, is now available. This review closes on 5 December.

Proposed Final Draft
The Following Expert Groups Have Published their Proposed Final Drafts:

JSR 222, Java Architecture for XML Binding 2.0

JSR 224, Java API for XML-Based Web Services 2.0

JSR 250, Common Annotations for the Java Platform

Final Release
JSR 164, SIMPLE Presence, has completed its work and published the Final Release of the specification.

JSR 165, SIMPLE Instant Messaging, has completed its work and published the Final Release of the specification.

Maintenance Review

JSR 88, Java EE Application Deployment, is now available for review until 28 November.
