Mounted How to make a nice pair of halogen bicycle headlamps using only materials available at Home Depot...a 20 watt low beam and a 50 watt high beam with MR16 Halogen Spot bulbs. Note: Floods don't give you enough range at speed and you want to get the bulbs that have a flat piece of glass at the front. Thanks Jake! Link.

arrow HOW TO Read Game FAQs on a PlayStation Portable
Faqonpsp ...put a couple FAQs and walk-through guides on the PSP so you could use it as a hand held reference when you are playing other game systems or if you are between PSP games. It makes things much easier now that you can read normal HTML text and image files instead of having to convert everything to an JPEG file. [via] Link.

MAKE: Podcast
BBS Documentary Cover."Bulletin Board Systems," or BBSes, gained widespread popularity in the 1980s before the rise of the Internet. Their collections of messages, rants, thoughts, and dreams became the way that an entire generation learned about being online. Computer historian Jason Scott spent four years traveling thousands of miles to do over 200 interviews and create "BBS: The Documentary," a mini-series of 8 episodes about the history of the BBS.

Phillip Torrone interviewed Jason Scott at DEFCON 13 and learned more about the making of the series and how Scott decided to use Creative Commons Licensing for his work. The interview is available as a special enhanced podcast for iTunes or as an MP3 file.
