SIP Communicator - Pure Voice over IP Java Agent!
Sip Communicator is a pure Java SIP User Agent built using the JAIN SIP
RI, and JMF which makes it 100% portable (tested on Win, Linux and
Mac). Key features of the SIP Communicator:
- supports both audio and video
- Works over IPv4 and IPv6.
- Firewall support and Instant Messaging features are being currently
developed.
IM features will soon be added to Sip
Communicator, and there is a version that works on iPAQs. For details, check out project

A Communications Services Framework to fuel IP telephony deployment? An effort is underway to setup a Communications Services Framework. The framework will provide a set of web services to enable IP telephony deployment and more generally peer-to-peer real-time communication. It will solve the problems encountered when deploying a muli-network IP communications infrastructure.
