LG Hands Free Bluetooth Dongles
From the RSS newswire... We're running the gambit here. Lots of cool stuff, from a phone that hooks up to a phone to a Bluetooth rear-view mirror. The mirror, which we see here, has hands-free features built-in and allows for complete control of your phone. I'm not sure that it's a great idea to have your hands all over your rear-view while bustling about in the big city, but I guess LG knows what its doing. There are also a bunch of little dongles and a big ugly dongle with buttons that kind of defeats the purpose of having a mobile phone in the car. Why not just make a car phone thingy that just plugs into the lighter and have it voice controlled? Who knows what they're thinking. BTW the word dongle is cool.

LifeDrive: Should I Take the Plunge?
The Bluetooth Weblog...OK folks, I’m going to need your help here. I’m intrigued by the
LifeDrive Mobile Manager
from palmOne. It looks like a cool product, and it promises a lot—4 GB hard drive, WiFi and Bluetooth support,
capability to carry your office docs with you, and so on. It has all the features I would need for a mobile device
minus a phone, which is not a big deal to me since I’m very happy with my cellphone.
However, I have read the mixed reviews for the LifeDrive, such as how it does some features well and some not so
well. Plus, the $499 price tag is definitely a concern. Anyway, I was hoping you could provide me with some constructive feedback and convince me whether I should go ahead
and buy the LifeDrive or not. I am truly on the fence on this one, and I could really use your help.

iPod Photo Connector Hacking...
MAKE Magazine Weblog... The iPod Photo connector is a neat little accessory ($29) you plug in to your iPod photo and to your supported camera which can transfer all the photos off your camera and to the iPod giving you 40/60 Gigs of storage. I finally got around to using mine and I think for many trips I can leave the computer home and save money on memory cards. The connector also seems to transfer any files in the image directory. I was able to transfer movie and MP3s. Of course, I had to see what else I could plug it in to- (it charges the Shuffle! and you can make a super cheap DIY version of the Belkin media reader!) it also works with a lot of other devices and now we have some hacks I need to do -- here are a ton of photos.
