JavaTools Community Mission

The Java Tools Community main goal is to promote and support the creation of open source Java development tools hosted at java.net. On one side by providing developers with various resources such as source code repositories, file sharing tools, mailing lists, task tracking software, etc.; and on the other side, by creating a community that supports the creation of these tools, it gives them feedback and guidance, if needed, and it publicises them for maximum exposure.
