Over the past four years we have worked hard to make LinuxQuestions.org the absolute best it can be. I really think that it has become one of the premier Linux sites on the web. The unfortunate reality is that this site takes a lot a resources to run. I would really like for this site to be here for the long haul. I hope you feel the same way. You can help support LinuxQuestions.org and get some great extra features by becoming a Contributing Member. The yearly subscription fee is $35. You can also subscribe by the month now for $5/month. I hope you agree that this fee is very reasonable. So what do you get for becoming a member?
Member benefits:
Contributing Member will be added to your user title
You will have the ability to turn the 468x60 banner ads on and off
Private messaging will be enabled
Ability to upload a Desktop Image
Ability to use the LinuxQuestions.org Google search
Special Contributing Member only updates and early access to new features
Most importantly you will know that you have helped what I hope you consider a great cause
If you have any ideas as to what other added features you would like to see contributing member get feel free to email member@linuxquestions.org or post in this thread. I would like to make it clear that becoming a contributing member does NOT entitle you to priority support or guarantee that your questions will be answered in the forums. All members will remain of equal importance. If you do not wish to become a contributing member or already have and wish to give more, you can still donate here.
