In March 2005 Symbian anti-virus specialist SimWorks announced it had identified the first Symbian virus capable of spreading itself via MMS messages. Orative - Launching On Series 60 In USA

At the annual CTIA Wireless trade show in New Orleans, LA (March 13-16, 2005) there was a lot more cooking than gumbo and jambalaya! On Monday March 14 Forum Nokia staged another one of their popular developer showcase events. This time, some 80 Forum Nokia PRO members from around the World were on tap to showcase their applications.

Out of a field of some 180 companies 6 inovative applications were singled out for excellence and recognized as winning apps, meeting the criteria of superior usability and utility. We were pleased to have been in attendance once again this year as Location-Based solutions take center stage.
