I had a chance to attend some of the calls and help host one of the expert meetings in our building in SF. David and his team have done a great job driving this JSR to completion. A lot of hard work went into this standard from all vendors. Alex Toussaint is a product manager with the WebLogic Portal team. He has been with BEA Systems for over three years and his focus has been on Standards
(JSR94, JSR168,JSR170, WSRP), Content Management, and Federated Portals. Prior to BEA he held several
positions at Vignette working on their Portal initiatives and the product transition to a J2EE architecture. Alex has published articles on dev2dev.bea.com and was a co-author of Professional
Java Web Services and Professional Java Server Programming J2EE. He is also involved with Java in Brazil, his native country. Alex and his wife Danielle
currently live in Colorado, US, with their two dogs Sasha and Misha.
