Making a podcast appliance...
I'm in the process of making and finding cheap ways to develop a podcast appliance as well as Flickr photo frames. For now I use a Tablet PC in my kitchen to listen to many podcasts. Kosso from Blugg.com has created a very cool XML/Macromedia Flash application that really makes the podcast appliance more interesting. Attractive Paint...
The latest Edmund's Scientifics catalog hit my mail box today and there was something that I was drawn to (pun intended). Liquid Magic Wall Magnetic Paint. It's Acrylic Latex magnetic receptive paint, lead free and I think I'm going to get some. There's some fun experiments to be had here for sure. I was a fan of the chalkboard paint, but they stopped selling it- but here's how to make your own chalkboard paint, seems like the secret ingredient is powder tile grout. PEZheads...
Turns out the group who collects PEZ dispensers are called PEZheads, and they just had a convention in Wisconsin. On that note, there seems to be an outbreak of PEZ based USB projects lately, I've seen lots of Star Wars USB drives, and I try to keep up with this fellow's effort to make a real PEZ-company approved PEZ MP3 player. He also has some other new creations which are for sale. Jeez, how could PEZ not just go for this. Maybe he should make a kit that just fits into any PEZ, and then sell those how-to / mod style....
