Project Jatse - An open source set of tools for teaching, learning and playing with algebra.:

Project Jatse, is an open source tool targeted at the mathematics used in high school, although these classes can be extended to cover either more or less advanced math. The project is currently in its initial release on java.net within the Global Education and Learning Community (GELC). Read on for more information on this project, its owner, and what the future plans are.

What is keeping me from switching to Linux: After all these years, after all the security bugs in Windows, after all these great free products are out there, why do I stay with Windows? And why don't I switch to Linux? And I say - why switch? I am perfectly OK with the way things are - an OS that doesn't take my time.

The JCP EC (and the community) did the right thing: JDO 2.0 approved: After a long time of uncertainty, the JCP Executive Comitee has done the right thing by approving JSR-243, JDO 2.0. But the community deserves credit for that as well.

JLogic - Object Oriented Digital Circuit Simulator:

JLogic, is a digital circuit simulator with an object-oriented design and written in Java. The project has graduated in the Global Education and Learning Community (GELC) at Java.net. JLogic has also released its verst version. I had a few questions for the project owner,Alex Lam S.L. about himself and the future of JLogic.
