Linux/Unix Series Description

Are you interested in learning Linux and Unix system administration skills? You can earn a University of Illinois Office of Continuing Education System Administration Certificate, and you will have access to your own Linux Server throughout the process -- all online and provided by Useractive.

This course series is targeted at both beginning and intermediate Linux/Unix users who want to acquire advanced system administration skills, and to back those skills up with a Certificate from the University of Illinois Office of Continuing Education.

The Linux/Unix course series is comprised of four courses that span Unix administration skills from basic to complex. Students will have access to their own Linux machines and networks throughout the series.

Completion of the 4-course series earns students a Certificate of Linux/Unix System Administration from the University of Illinois Offic of Continuing Education. All courses are certified by the University of Illinois Office of Continuing Education, and students receive Continuing Education Units upon completion of each course in the series.
